TCS Q4 Results 2022 – Highlights
- TCS Q4 22 result showed that the company has achieved the important milestone of Rs. 50,000 crore revenue and very close to achieve a milestone of Rs. 10,000 crore as profits.
- The company showed great performance in the post pandemic period due to high demand in 5G, Cloud based services, cyber security and data analytics. Q4 revenue of the company surged by 15.8% on YoY basis from Rs. 43,705 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 50,591 crores in Q4-22. While, the quarterly revenue in Q4-22 increased by 3% from the previous quarter.
- EPS of the company on a quarterly basis rose by 8.2% from 24.75 in Q4-21 to 26.77 in Q4-22.
- EBITDA of the company also increased by 8.7% from Rs. 12,701 crore in Q4-21 to Rs. 13,815 crore in Q4-22.
- Enterprise Value of the company also surged by 17.2% from Rs. 11,45,693 crore in Q4-21 to Rs. 13,43,947 in Q4-22.
- Payout ratio of the company has also improved by 39.7% from 58.68 in Q4-21 to 81.99 in Q4-22.
- RoE of the company has increased by 12% from 37.99 in Q4-21 to 42.60 in Q4-22.
- TCS has also announced a dividend payout of Rs. 22 per share to its shareholders.
- Net income of the company surged by 8% on a YoY basis from Rs. 9164 crore in Q4-21 to Rs. 9900.8 crore in Q4-22.

- Profit from this segment has also surged by 8.7% on a YoY basis from Rs. 2,039 crore in Q4-21 to Rs. 2,217 crore in Q4-22.
🏦 Banking, Financial Services & Insurance
- Revenue from this segment has surged by 11.2% on a YoY basis from Rs. 17,559.crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 19,532.crores in Q4-22.
- Profit from this segment also increased by 5% on YoY basis from Rs. 4,986 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 5,242.crores in Q4-22.
🏭 Manufacturing
- Revenue from this segment surged by 17.5% on a YoY basis from Rs. 4,213crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 4,951crores in Q4-22.
- Profit from this segment rose by16.4 % on a YoY basis from Rs. 1,280 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 1,491 crores in Q4-22.
🌐 Communication Media & Technology
- Revenue from this segment increased by 20% on a YoY basis from Rs. 7,042 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 8,475 crores in Q4-22.
- Profit from this segment has also surged by 16.7% on a YoY basis from Rs. 2,141 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 2,499 crores in Q4-22.
Others
- Revenue from this segment has tumbled by 50.5 % on a YoY basis from Rs. 8,113 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 4,008 crores in Q4-22.
- Profit of this segment has declined by 66% on a YoY basis from Rs. 2,355 crores in Q4-21 to Rs. 793 crores in Q4-22.
